Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 10 October 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and BOD GROUP LTD ("BODOS", "we", "us") about your use of BODOS: the website at bodos.co, the dashboard at app.bodos.co, and everything you build or run with it. By creating an account or using BODOS you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use BODOS.
If you use BODOS for a company or a group, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a binding contract. Give true details and keep them up to date. One person or business should not use another’s identity. Keep your password safe and switch on two-step sign-in if you can. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including by people you invite to your team. Tell us at once at hello@bodos.co if you think someone else is using your account.
2. Plans, prices and payment
BODOS has a free plan and paid plans. What each plan includes, and its limits, are shown on the pricing page. We may change plans and prices; a change never reduces what you already paid for in the current period. Paid plans are paid in advance by Paystack, month by month or for a year. Nothing renews by itself. When a period ends you choose whether to pay again. If you do not pay again, your account goes back to the free plan. We may hide things that go over the free limits, but we do not delete your data straight away. Fees are in Naira and include any taxes we must charge. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law says otherwise or where we agree in writing. BODPay fees (for example on shop sales and donations) are taken from the payment before it reaches you and are shown in your dashboard.
3. What you own, and what we may do with it
You own your content: the words, pictures, products and data you put into BODOS. You give us permission to store it, show it where you ask us to (for example on your published website) and copy it as needed to run and back up the service. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backups that are removed in the normal cycle. BODOS itself, including the software, designs, templates and our name and logo, belongs to BOD GROUP LTD or its licensors. You may use them only as part of using BODOS. Stock photos from the library carry the licence of the library they come from. You promise that you have the right to use everything you upload or publish.
4. What you must not do
If you break these rules we may remove content, pause or close your website or account, hold payments while we look into it, and tell the authorities. Where we can, we tell you why first. Publish anything illegal, fraudulent, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or that sexualises children. Sell goods or services that are illegal in Nigeria or in the place you sell to. Use BODOS to run scams, pyramid or ponzi schemes, false fundraising, or to take money for things you do not deliver. Copy another person’s brand, pictures or writing without permission, or pretend to be someone else. Send spam or collect people’s data unlawfully. Attack, overload or try to break into BODOS or another user’s site, or look for weaknesses without our written permission. Resell or hand over BODOS access to others in a way these terms do not allow.
5. Your customers, and your duties to them
When you sell, take bookings, sell tickets, collect donations or run a poll, the agreement is between you and your customer, not us. You are responsible for delivering what you promised, for your own prices, delivery, refunds, taxes and licences, and for following the law that applies to your business, including consumer protection and data protection. You should publish your own privacy, terms and returns pages for your website. Our guides show you how.
6. Donations and BODPay
Donations are available on every plan, with limits that grow on paid plans. These extra rules apply to everyone who collects donations through BODOS: Tell us the true reason for the donation. We may approve, ask questions about, or refuse any donation page before it goes live, and we may stop one at any time if it looks false, unlawful or unsafe. All donations are paid through BODPay. Donations paid by any other route are outside BODOS and not our responsibility. The organiser pays a 3% BODPay fee on every donation, on every plan. It is taken from the donation before it is paid out. You may collect up to ₦200,000 in total without showing identity. To collect more, you must send a National Identification Number or driver’s licence, which we check. The name on the ID must match the name on the bank account that receives the money. Donation money is held until the donation ends, or until you end it, and for three more days after that. Then we pay it, less the fee, to the bank account you gave us. We may hold it longer if there is a dispute, a complaint or an investigation, or if the law requires. If a donation page turns out to be false or unlawful, we may return the money to the donors. You must use the money for the reason you gave. Donors and the authorities may ask you to show how it was used.
7. Tickets, bookings and shop sales
Ticket sales must be paid through BODPay. Bookings and shop orders may use the payment methods your plan allows. Refunds for these are decided by the business that sold them, following its own published rules and the law. BODOS is not the seller.
8. Domains and addresses
Every website gets an address under mybodos.com. You may connect a domain you own or buy from a registrar. You are responsible for renewing a domain you bought elsewhere. If we ever help register a domain for you, it is registered in your name.
9. Keeping BODOS running
We work hard to keep BODOS available and your data safe, but we do not promise that it will never be interrupted or free of errors. We may pause the service for repairs or upgrades, and we try to warn you first when we can. Please keep your own copy of anything important; you can export many things from your dashboard. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove one that you pay for, we will tell you and treat the fee fairly.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using BODOS and delete your account at any time from your settings. We may end or pause your account if you break these terms, do not pay, or if the law requires, and we will tell you why where we can. When an account ends, your websites go offline. Any donation money still held is handled under the donation rules above.
11. Our responsibility to you
BODOS is provided "as it is". To the greatest extent the law allows, BOD GROUP LTD is not responsible for lost profit, lost sales, lost data or any indirect loss, or for anything caused by a payment partner, a bank, your internet or phone provider, or by something outside our control. Where we are responsible for a loss, our total responsibility to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit. You agree to cover us against claims from others that come from your content or from your breaking these terms.
12. Your data
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will show the date at the top and, for an important change, email the account owner at least 14 days before it starts. If you keep using BODOS after the change, you accept it. If you do not accept it, you may close your account.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we cannot settle a disagreement by talking, it goes first to mediation, and then to the courts of Nigeria. Nothing here removes any right you have under Nigerian consumer law.
